The product you’ll be working on is part of the robotics team, which manages the organization’s enterprise-wide robotic process automation (RPA) platform. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the platform’s strategy, support its daily operations, and directly influence how RPA accelerates business performance.
Responsibilities:
Receive, assess, resolve, and when needed escalate platform-related incidents in alignment with established playbooks and IT service management practices.
Manage and monitor Blue Prism components—including application servers, the control room, and runtime resources—conducting regular health checks and reviewing logs.
Administer virtual machines, storage accounts, load balancers, virtual networks, and relevant Azure AI/Cognitive Services components.
Execute planned patching and operating system/runtime updates using Azure Update Management within approved maintenance windows.
Support Azure AD account, role, and group administration; conduct access reviews; and assist with onboarding and offboarding of users and developers.
Continuously track platform health through metrics, alerts, and logs; maintain dashboards and alerting rules; generate KPIs and operational reports; and update runbooks/playbooks, including automation of routine tasks.
Partner with engineering, security, compliance, and development teams to coordinate upgrades, releases, patch cycles, and capacity planning.
Skills:
Practical experience administering Blue Prism Enterprise, including installation, control room operations, runtime resource management, and log analysis.
Strong background in managing Azure resources such as virtual machines, storage accounts, load balancers, virtual networks, and related platform services; familiarity with Azure AI/Cognitive Services is an advantage.
Experience using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights—or comparable monitoring solutions—for metrics, logging, and alerting.
Hands-on experience with update and patch processes in Azure using Azure Automation/Update Management or with local Windows environments.
Solid scripting abilities in PowerShell, ARM/Bicep, or similar technologies for automation and operational workflows; Python skills are a plus.
Understanding of IT service management processes and experience with first-level incident handling, including ticketing and escalation.
Knowledge of backup strategies, disaster recovery principles, and best practices for operational security in cloud environments.
Fluent in English; German language skills are beneficial.
